We work with young people to give them a broad and balanced school experience that facilitates the individual to transition effectively to the next stage of their education. This may be a return to mainstream school, progression to college or suitable Post 16 destination.

Young people are supported through a range of academic subjects, with a particular focus on English and maths, supplemented with vocational education as appropriate. We enrich this offer with a pastoral and therapeutic offer which aims to help our young people become effective members of society.

We believe parents and carers are a key part of this relationship and are instrumental in their young person’s progress and outcomes. Parents are kept regularly updated through a tutor system and weekly reports which set out how their young person has performed across the week. This also relates to our rewards system.
