Stephanie White

Stephanie White is a Youth Engagement Worker.

I work across four provisions at Saffron Valley Collegiate, delivering targeted workshops five days a week to support the diverse needs of young people. My sessions cover key areas such as exploitation awareness, online safety, gang prevention, knife crime, girls’ development, and self-esteem and confidence building.

Alongside group delivery, I provide one-to-one support for young people, helping them access and engage in positive activities outside of school hours, with the aim of promoting personal development and reducing risk-taking behaviours.

I also support young people in accessing education, whether that involves attending Saffron Valley Collegiate or reintegrating back into mainstream school. I work closely with individuals to remove barriers to engagement and encourage sustained participation in education.

In addition, I deliver outreach sessions within the town centre, helping to ensure continuity and consistency of support both in school and within the wider community.

I also coordinate and deliver holiday programmes and organise residential trips, giving young people the opportunity to experience new environments, build independence, and develop social skills. I believe these experiences are vital in broadening horizons and supporting long-term positive outcomes.
